Losing isn’t always a bad thing.
The Bad Beat is an additional jackpot which is awarded to a table where an extremely strong hand is beaten by a better hand. To qualify for this jackpot, a player must have a minimum hand of Aces full of tens (AAA10-‐10) beaten by quads (four of a kind) or better and both hands must use both hole cards. There must be a minimum of twenty dollars in the pot and five players dealt in the hand.
The Jackpot is divided as follows:
50% – losing hand
25% – winning hand
25% – divided amongst the remaining players
